Located just south of the historic city of St. Augustine at the corner of US Highway 1 and Watson Road, The Shoppes of Valencia is the commercial component of a larger planned-unit-development which includes the 83-unit residential community of Camelot Village and the 548-unit residential community of The Villages of Valencia. The plan for the site currently calls for three strategically placed outparcels along US Highway 1 with a 30,000 square-foot retail building along the back of the site. Although construction is not expected to begin until 2006, negotiations are already underway to bring a national pharmacy chain to anchor the retail center.
